my wolf and other news
needless to say I did not expect her to be as big or as heavy as she is. At 75” total, with a length of 53” from nose to base of tail, she’s a big girl, and very easily drapes down my back fitting near perfectly.
I need to rehydrate her face and set it to dry; I’m not looking forward to it, as she’s got such thick hide, I’m sure it’ll take forever. I also don’t want to hurt her precious little ears, ha.
She’s very well furred, too, I really don’t see much awry with her aside from that. She doesn’t have many of her whiskers anymore, but that’s fine. Nor feet — just a bit of leg skins. But that’s also fine.
She has a scar running from where her collar bone would’ve been down to half way down her ribcage, in which it’s pulled apart from being tanned. I’ve nearly got the entire thing sewn up and you couldn’t hardly tell even beforehand.
She’s also got a strip of guard hairs down her spine that’ve been broken off. Not that I mind; it looks like a whitish stripe down her back, ha.
Since I’ve gotten her I split her into a rug cut; I’d like to make a make-shift headdress out of her. :)

I am a dork lol

As for other news, I didn’t get the free ride scholarship at Cedar Crest. I’m not really mad about it; a teacher approached me and told me I’d been close. And the girls that DID win were…. homely, to say the least. Which generally fills the stereotype as to WHY the 5+ girls had beaten me. I’m sure they studied or similar. I’m not that driven anymore. Maybe 4 years ago. Or 3, or even 2. Maybe even last year. But now I cannot bring myself to care that much anymore. I’ve gotten into a school we can afford. UF will be good enough. I know I can’t afford to go to anywhere out of state. So UF will probably be where I go. Oh well. It’s free. Even if it’s the fucking “Summer Term B” or whatever.
I really don’t feel like doing anything anymore in a lot of my classes. Especially Spanish. I hate that class.
I got my hair trimmed. My bangs/fringe look pretty stupid. Oh well. They’ll grow out again.
Sam’s coming down this summer. I’m really excited. :) But it seems really far away, haha. June.. After I graduate. We’re going to watch a lot of movies and go to Busch Gardens and MetroCon too.
